About Dr. Yolanda N. White

Dr. White is a licensed school psychologist in Florida and Arizona. She specializes in working with children and adolescents to build the skills they need to be successful in school and in life. She has extensive experience in providing assessments, counseling, and behavior interventions for a variety of issues. Her passion for helping children and adolescents achieve their goals is what drives her to stay up to date on the latest research and evidence-based strategies. She is committed to providing quality services to families and individuals in the community. She strives to be a strong advocate for her clients and to create an environment that is safe, welcoming, and supportive. 

Dr. White graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. She received her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University, and she received her Doctor of Psychology with a specialty in School Psychology from Capella University. She has been in education for over 12 years and has taught in the private and public sectors K-12 students. Dr. White has worked with children and families from diverse backgrounds including children living in residential facilities, teen mothers, and children with incarcerated parents. 

Dr. White is Married to The Reverend Markus-Derek White and has two beautiful boys whom both have ADHD. She is passionate about ADHD work and helping students understand the anatomy and function of their brain.
